WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
We use a primer called Insl-X Stix which is a high bond, high build, super adhesion primer that's made specifically for cabinets. It's extremely durable and will make any latex paint stick to it. For paint colors, we use any color available at Sherwin Williams. For topcoats, we use Benjamin Moore Advance which cures very hard and is also extremely durable. You'll never have to wash your cabinets with anything more than some Dawn dishsoap, water, and a paper towel.
WHAT FINISHES ARE OFFERED?
We at Refaced and Refined aim to bring your vision to life and offer countless finishes bound only by imagination. Our popular finishes are white, coffee, dark walnut, antique ash, charcoal glaze, woodgrain, color wash, distressed, tea stained, glazed, aged oak, and high gloss white. But with every color of the rainbow at our fingertips we can make your dream cabinets any finish you wish. As a Sherman Williams verified professional, your outcome will look luxurious and clean.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
If it's going to be done right, it's going to take a little time. Our free in home consultation starts with a personalized review of your desires and customization. The main body of the work takes about a week to get all of your cabinet doors done at our central shop. At that time, when we're just about finished with your doors, we come to your house to clean, sand, de-gloss, prime, and paint your cabinet frames. All totaled it's estimated to take about 10 work days.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE LIKE?
Couldn't be simpler. You could throw spaghetti sauce on your cabinets and it'll easily remove with a little Dawn dishsoap, water, and a paper towel without leaving a stain. The paint is 100% alkyd so it's hard as a rock once cured. It's advised not to use any green scrubbies, magic erasers, or anything abrasive. The strongest detergent you'll ever need to use is Dawn.
WHAT'S YOUR GUARANTEE?
We don't mind coming back to do touchups on rare cases, and the products we use have a lifetime guarantee themselves. The real concern is nail scratches over time when grabbing the cabinets doors, but since we use Stix with latex, it won't scratch. For peace of mind, if anything happens within 90 days, we can come back and touch up the work.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept payments through a personal check to Refaced and Refined Cabinets LLC, Visa/Mastercard, and Paypal.
The payment schedule is 1/3 down and 2/3 upon satisfactory completion.
